IELTS Wrting Exercise #5

The given table tells about estimated literacy rates by region and gender from 2000–2004

the data are divided into five continents: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. and, also the table has a total world estimated literacy rate for both a male and a female.

Overall, the total rate of world literacy is 82%. it is included with male rates of 87.2% and for females is approx 10% lower in 77.3%

It’s clear that Europe has the Highest score with 98.8% in total followed the rate is almost equal between males and women. followed by Americas with 93.6% and Oceania come up with only 0.2% behind with 93.4%.

For Asia and Africa, both have 79.3% and 62.5% respectively for total rates of people being literate. with their, both had a big gap between the ratio that males have and the ratio that females have
